Transaction Solutions Associate

Aon's Mergers & Acquisitions team provides a wide range of transaction solutions and deal advisory services to clients undertaking M&A activity across the UK and EMEA. The team has a diverse range of backgrounds, including investment bankers, Big 4, lawyers, actuaries, and technical specialists.

The team's focus is on two core strategies: Transactions Solutions (TS) capabilities and Transaction Advisory Services (TAS). TS delivers structured risk transfer instruments, while TAS provides specialist capabilities in risk and insurance, financial lines, cyber security, human capital, intellectual property, and ESG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day delivery of broking placements, including client and insurer engagement, preparation of insurer submissions, and handling policy binding.
  • Daily communication with the Aon deal team to discuss next steps and progress.
  • Post-transaction handling of invoicing and collating post-deal marketing collateral.
  • Supporting stakeholder relationships, including client and adviser relationships.
  • Attending external networking events, conferences, and seminars to contribute to the team's business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Warranty & Indemnity / Tax / or general Transaction Services experience from within Audit / Accountancy / Legal or other analogous industries.
  • Project management responsibility within current or previous roles.
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships and attending networking events.
  • Experience in producing written outputs and strong attention to detail.
