Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our reception front of house team, you will be responsible for the effective running and workload in the reception area, reporting to the Deputy Manager/Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to patient requests via telephone and face-to-face interactions
* Book appointments with clinicians
* Coordinate emergency doctor requests
* Manage workflow and administration tasks within reception
* Fax, hand mail, email, and send letters to patients
* Complete prescription requests

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role within a GP or hospital setting is desirable
* Familiarity with SystmOne is an advantage
* Self-motivated and forward-thinking approach
* Excellent organizational, planning, and IT skills
* Effective communication skills

Working Hours:

Flexibility of working hours is essential for this role, as you may be asked to cover at short notice.
