Opportunity for Intensive Care Medicine Training

NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality training opportunities for healthcare professionals. We are seeking a talented individual to fill a locum appointment for training in intensive care medicine.

This position is based in the Intensive Care Unit of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and offers a unique opportunity for a trainee to consolidate their clinical experience and apply for specialist training in intensive care medicine.

The successful applicant will work a band 1A compliant full shift rota, including out-of-hours and weekend working. This post has deanery approval for training and the successful applicant will receive training opportunities at the appropriate level based on previous experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
  • Consolidate clinical experience and apply for specialist training in intensive care medicine
  • Work a band 1A compliant full shift rota, including out-of-hours and weekend working

Requirements:

  • Deanery approval for training
  • Previous experience in intensive care medicine
