Job Title: Medicines Management Nurse

Location: Edinburgh and the Lothians

NHS Scotland is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and is seeking a registered nurse with expertise in medicines management to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of medicines management services across the St John's Hospital site, including the implementation of the medicines one stop service and education and training elements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, experience of audit, quality improvement and change/project management, and be a Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of medicines management services across the St John's Hospital site
  • Implement the medicines one stop service and education and training elements
  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of medicines management policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register
  • Experience of audit, quality improvement and change/project management
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Permanent contract
