Key Responsibilities:

As a Breakfast Club Assistant at North Lanarkshire Council, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and happiness of children in the morning before the start of the school day.

Main Duties:

  • Supervise children during breakfast time in the school grounds, assisting with their welfare and promoting positive conduct in line with council policy and procedures.
  • Clean tables and any spillages, ensuring the dining area is clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements:

You will ideally have experience working with children in a school situation or voluntary capacity. You will be a positive, approachable and pleasant individual with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be punctual, reliable, have a basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness and also have the ability to execute routine tasks on your own initiative as well as working to the instructions of the Head Teacher.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am
