Customer Assistant Role in Edinburgh

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant in our Edinburgh store. As a key part of our sales floor team, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

About the Role:

This role involves working early morning shifts, including 5am or 6am starts, and requires flexibility to work weekends. You'll be the face of our business, interacting with customers and promoting our products. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships will enable you to provide outstanding service and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, ensuring shelves are stocked with product
  • Monitor and deliver daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit
  • Become an expert in our products to sell and recommend them effectively

What We Offer:

As a Customer Assistant with Marks & Spencer, you can expect a competitive salary of around £10.50 per hour, based on your location in Edinburgh.
