About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our electrical services design team, you will be responsible for leading electrical services design on large projects and overseeing overall MEP on small to medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical services design on large projects, working closely with clients and other professionals to deliver high-quality results.
  • Manage and prioritize the workload of a project team, including specialist groups, to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Host and chair internal project team meetings, contributing to the professional development of individual team members.
  • Actively lead self and identify opportunities for career development, providing support for the career growth of others.
  • Monitor project expenditure and reporting to the team leader, ensuring quality standards and technical accuracy are delivered.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
  • Previous consultancy experience, with a strong appreciation of client needs and the ability to face clients.
  • Autonomous approach, with the ability to lead small to medium-sized projects and take a brief from the project lead on large projects.
  • Chartered engineer or close to depending on grade.
