Elsdon Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This hybrid role involves working one day a week from the office in Greater Manchester and meeting customers and contractors on site across the UK.

The ideal candidate will assist the project team with project documentation, job costing, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. Key responsibilities include assisting with on-site management, ensuring project plans meet deadlines, working with HV specialist contractors, and scoping HV and MV electrical works.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, solid experience in delivering HV projects, and familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
  • Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
  • Work with HV specialist contractors to deliver the project
  • Scope HV and MV electrical works
  • Assist sales team to deliver bids/tenders

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience in delivering HV projects
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
