**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our team in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions. As a key member of the data engineering department, you will be responsible for developing the data warehouse design using the Kimball methodology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing logical change data capture (CDC) to extract data from source systems.
  • Working with ETL processes and data warehouse developers to create and alter the data warehouse according to business requirements.
  • Collaborating with report developers to optimize data warehouse design for reports built in MicroStrategy and SSRS.
  • Developing an intimate knowledge of business data structures.
  • Maintaining relevant documentation and adhering to departmental standards.

Required Skills:

  • Commercial experience in data warehouse implementation, preferably in the Cloud.
  • Knowledge of relational theory and set-based processing.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • A committed, flexible, and can-do attitude towards work.

About the Role:

This role represents an opportunity to design and improve the data warehouse where day-to-day work is varied and interesting. You will be working closely with other departments to ensure a high-quality outcome while always looking to improve the data warehouse design to meet changing business demands.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
