Salary: $68,000 - $72,000 per year, plus commission opportunities

Job Description:

The Customer Business Development Manager position at Ryder System is responsible for retaining and growing current customers, improving the profitability of existing accounts, and developing new customer business. This role requires strong sales and account management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate and develop customer interest in Ryder services, including Full Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, Fleet Management Services, and Dedicated Contract Carriage
  • Analyze account profitability and develop sales plans to drive growth and retention
  • Utilize the Ryder Sales Process to educate and develop prospect value perception of Ryder services
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of consecutive sales excellence in prior sales responsibilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
