Job Description


As a Senior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning mobile engineering resources to ensure excellent customer experience during breakdowns. This will involve:



  • Planning breakdown attendances, taking into account mobile engineers' workload capacity, urgency of the breakdowns, geography, and other factors.
  • Ensuring effective and balanced workload of mobile engineers.
  • Raising purchase orders to third-party suppliers for work undertaken.
  • Coordinating external suppliers' attendances and revisits.
  • Maintaining up-to-date reports on all breakdowns to ensure prompt closure.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Good understanding of UK geography.
  • Understanding of planning and resourcing activities.
  • Credible communication skills, both oral and written, with customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, email, and internal systems.


Location


The role will be based in Birchwood, with occasional visits to depot network required.
