The role of a Field Service Technician with Andy File Associates Ltd involves providing top-notch customer service while ensuring the seamless installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile folding furniture solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to our clients across various sectors, including events, schools, offices, and more.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills to join our team as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently, visiting customer sites within a designated geographical region and carrying out servicing, repairs, inspections, and other tasks as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering excellent customer experiences
- Visiting customer premises in a timely manner and adhering to scheduled appointments
- Carrying out annual servicing of all products
- Fulfilling repairs using stock from your vehicle
- Documenting repairs or replacements and capturing images as necessary
- Conducting inspections as requested
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or structural products (experience with furniture is an advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools and equipment used for assembling and repairing furniture
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or product-related issues quickly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude
