Supporting Children with Autism

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting primary school students with Autism in Waltham Forest, London. Our school values diversity and inclusivity, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our students.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Role:
You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff and other support professionals to provide individualized support to students with Autism. Your role will involve developing and implementing creative strategies to engage and motivate our students, and collaborating with teachers to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students with Autism
- Assist with lessons and activities to promote inclusion and engagement
- Collaborate with teachers to identify and address any barriers to learning

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with Autism or similar neurodiverse conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
