**Job Description**
The Mid Kent Waste Partnership is launching its new joint waste contract in March 2024, offering improvements to the waste and street cleansing services across the three boroughs. As a Contract Officer - Environmental Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this contract.
You will work closely with the three authorities' waste management teams to manage the contract effectively and deliver service improvements. This will involve using your expertise to provide direction to all partners and ensuring that the priorities of all partners can be met.
The estimated salary for this position is around £37,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including highly flexible hybrid working opportunities, 7am to 7pm flexi time, generous holiday entitlement, and a local government pension scheme.
We are looking for an individual who is educated to A-level with experience of a service delivery environment. You should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of individuals and communicate information clearly and concisely.
