About the Role

We are seeking an organised and efficient Finance Administrator to support our Finance department in a hybrid working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable and enjoy working from home with occasional visits to RAF Stations as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate input and maintenance of financial records on finance software including Sage Intacct and Yooz.
  • Provide financial administrative support, processing receipts, payments and expenses, and preliminary review of authorisation of expenditure by budget holders.
  • Support bank account administration and process bank payments.
  • Act as a point of contact for account or payment queries from suppliers, grant recipients or other third parties.
  • Support journal entry input and reconcile prepayment, accrual and deferred accounts.
  • Reconcile trade debtors and creditors on a monthly basis.
  • Raise sales and intercompany invoices and ensure intercompany accounts balance.
Requirements
  1. Experience in using multiple software platforms, including SAGE.
  2. Accounts payable experience.
  3. Processing bank payments and receipts via online banking systems.
  4. IT software skills, particularly Word and Excel.
