We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to design and implement cutting-edge AI technology.

As an AI champion, you will keep up with the latest advancements in Generative AI and provide mentoring to other engineers. You will also work on the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI systems and architecture
  • Develop prompt engine and continuous monitoring and evaluation
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers
  • Act as an AI champion and provide mentoring to other engineers

About You

We are looking for someone with commercial experience of working with AI, a demonstrable interest in Generative AI concepts, and strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot.

You should have technical project leadership and mentoring experience, as well as experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing, and Kafka.

You should also have a test-driven approach, TDD, Agile methodologies, and processes.
