AI Software Engineer / Developer (Java SpringBoot) Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join our team in London. As an AI champion, you will design and implement the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities, facilitating scalability and the adoption of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the application layer to expose and encapsulate Generative AI capabilities
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to introduce cutting-edge AI technology
  • Act as an AI champion, keeping up with the latest advancements and providing mentoring to other engineers
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, messaging, and event sourcing
  • Work with a cross-functional team to drive technical project leadership and mentoring

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience with AI and Generative AI concepts
  • Strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot
  • Technical project leadership and mentoring experience
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, and event sourcing
  • Test-driven approach, Agile methodologies, and processes
