We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Leader to join our team in Exeter. This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to take on a key leadership role, driving results and contributing to our company's growth.



About the Role:



  • To manage and motivate site-based management teams to ensure each development meets health, safety, and environmental performance standards.
  • To achieve program goals by effectively coordinating resources, prioritizing tasks, and implementing strategies.
  • To maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the project lifecycle.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Leading construction projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards through regular site visits, monitoring progress, and addressing issues promptly.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure collaborative success.


Requirements:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and direct teams towards common goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of project management software.


Salary Range:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. **Location:** Exeter, Devon. **Benefits:** Comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
