Care Support Specialist

Job Description:Care Support Specialist
This role involves providing support to our residents with household and domestic tasks, making meals, drinks, and snacks as needed, and encouraging them to follow agreed care plans. You will also assist residents with personal care, including washing, bathing, and dressing, and ensure they take their medication as required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with daily living activities, such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and financial transactions.
- Making meals, drinks, and snacks for residents as needed.
- Encouraging residents to follow agreed care plans and assisting them with getting up in the morning and going to bed in the evening.
- Providing personal care, including washing, bathing, and dressing residents, and ensuring they take their medication as required.
Requirements:
- To be kind, friendly, and have good communication skills.
- To commit to undertaking necessary further training and development.
- To have a genuine desire to help people and remain calm under pressure.
- To be reliable and flexible, with the ability to use your initiative.
