Specialist Mental Health Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at London Tenders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with severe and enduring mental illness.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £54,000 - £64,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health support services to residents.

About the Position:

  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and compassion.
  • You will work closely with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure they receive the best possible care and support.

Main Duties:

  1. To develop and implement personalized support plans for each resident, working closely with healthcare professionals and other agencies.
  2. To provide emotional support and guidance to residents, helping them to manage their mental health and reach their full potential.
  3. To work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless care and support.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, or nursing.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
