About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Mental Health Employment Support Specialist to support unemployed individuals facing mental health challenges in their journey to employment.

This role involves assisting those on long-term sick leave to succeed in returning to work.

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, including mental health issues and other challenges.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

You will also have a strong understanding of mental health issues and the impact they can have on an individual's ability to find employment.

What We Offer

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £29,777 (25 days' holiday + bank holidays, local government pension scheme).
