Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trade Counter Assistant to join our team in Brighton. This role involves serving customers on the trade counter, handling phone enquiries, making deliveries, and assisting with warehouse duties.

About the Job
  • Maintain the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
  • Serve customers on the trade counter, handle incoming enquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Pick orders accurately for delivery, ensuring timely and reliable service to our clients.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming goods, verifying their quality and quantity before storage.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the branch, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Carry out local deliveries, providing a high level of service to our customers.
  • Process quotes, responding promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
Your Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as business administration or customer service.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to think critically and make sound decisions.
