Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to adult patients in a correctional setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Valid unrestricted Virginia RN license.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers, with current certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Experience in a correctional setting, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this environment.
