Care Team Supervisor

Cinnamon Care is a top 20 care home group, committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. Our purpose-built 65 bedded residential care home in Netley Abbey is dedicated to supporting individuals with dementia and residential needs.
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Care Team Supervisor to join our team at Netley Court. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.
Main Responsibilities- To work closely with the Deputy Manager to coordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring that each individual's needs and preferences are met.
- To ensure that all relevant information is recorded and communicated effectively to achieve a person-centred approach.
- To deliver and manage medication administration processes, maintaining robust auditing procedures and identifying training needs.
- To recruit and manage the care team through Cinnamon's recruitment process, ensuring efficient contract hour management and ongoing recruitment monitoring.
- To communicate regularly with family members regarding resident needs and progress.
- To manage team member absence and conduct return-to-work sessions, supported by the Deputy Manager and Home Administrator.
- To oversee effective handovers between shifts, keeping the Deputy Manager and General Manager informed of applicable areas.
- NVQ 3 essential, NVQ 4 in Care or Registered Managers Award desirable.
- Two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
- Experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.
- Experience working with older people.
