Hartford Care is a leading provider of residential care services, offering a supportive and stimulating environment for residents to thrive. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team as a Day Senior Care Assistant.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to our residents during the day time. As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the shift, working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere, and promoting each person's privacy, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualised care and support to residents during the day time
  • Supervising and leading the shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and inclusive environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care
  • Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
