Experienced Education Assistant

We are seeking an experienced education assistant to join our team at a primary school near Lancaster. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide support to pupils with special educational needs.
About the RoleThis is a temporary full-time position, with a competitive daily rate of £90, depending on experience. You will be required to maintain accurate records of pupil progress and development, and work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to pupils with SEN in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans in collaboration with teaching staff
- Monitor and record pupil progress and development
To be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience working in a school or similar setting, as well as up-to-date safeguarding training. You must also hold a Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, and two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
