Education Support Assistant Job Opportunity at Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd

We are seeking a caring and experienced Flexible General Teaching Assistant to support our Year 1 class at Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd. As an integral member of our team, you will help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters the educational and social development of our students. Your key responsibilities will include working closely with children, developing and implementing effective teaching strategies, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment. To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Proficiency in phonics teaching strategies and ability to support early literacy development.
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
  • Previous experience working with primary school children, especially in Year 1 or early years, is highly desirable.
  • Friendly, patient, and supportive approach to working with young children.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, based on your level of experience. Our school community prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students and staff, requiring all employees to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide professional references. A valid passport and the right to live and work in the UK are necessary for this position.
