Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team at a 6-Bed Residential Home for children and young adults aged 5-18 in the Swindon area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care and support to our residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff, promoting independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.
  • Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
  • Monitor and document young people's progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, local authorities, other professional agencies, and significant others involved in the young person's life.
  • Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Promote and encourage the participation of young people in the decision-making process of the home and the wider community, and assist in seeking information and advice from appropriate sources.
