Production Supervisor Opportunity

Glen Callum Associates Ltd is a leading recruitment specialist operating across automotive and industrial sectors.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their in-house assembly department, managing a team of 8 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning production schedules.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure enough materials and resources are available for production.
  • Assist in streamlining the production process to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on performance and progress for senior management.
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment and organize the repair of any damaged equipment.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure a cohesive team effort.
  • Manage a team of 8 staff members on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Production Leader, Production Supervisor, or Assistant Production Manager role.
  • Knowledge of battery manufacturing is highly desirable, with electronics production/assembly being an ideal alternative.
  • A desire to remain hands-on and result-focused, with the ability to get the best out of your team.
