Matron Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matron to join our team in Secure Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership, promoting the safe delivery of high-quality care and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Work closely with Ward Managers to identify areas for development and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure effective action is taken where nursing performance is at risk of falling below expected levels and standards are not maintained.
- Drive infection prevention and control agenda and challenge poor practice.
- Manage and respond to complaints and adverse incidents as required, ensuring teams receive appropriate support and debrief.
- Support Ward Managers through staff sickness and disciplinary processes.
- Carry out root cause analysis following a serious incident, developing action plans alongside the Ward Manager.
- Provide reports to Senior Management team as required, undertaking root cause analysis and developing action plans.
