Specialist SEN Educator Job
We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our high-achieving school in Ealing. As a result of maternity leave, we want to ensure a comprehensive handover and maintain the excellent progress of our students.
About Our School
Our co-educational school caters for students with complex needs, aged 7-19. We have a range of facilities, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and sensory areas. These enable us to provide a tailored curriculum that suits each student's requirements.
The Class
The class consists of 8 pupils with varying needs, including Down syndrome and global developmental delay. Experience working with complex needs or EYFS is advantageous. The two full-time TAs will support you in planning lessons and managing classroom routines, ensuring a smooth transition.
Job Requirements
We require an SEN teacher who can plan, deliver, and assess lessons that focus on a sensory curriculum. Good behaviour and classroom management skills are essential, as well as experience in supporting pupils with Makaton and PECs usage.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a 2-3 term maternity cover position, providing an opportunity to make a lasting impact while maintaining the school's Outstanding features.
