Facilities Manager Job Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team in Northampton. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating service delivery across the FM service delivery scope and advising senior management on perceived risks and mitigation actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Contract Manager in coordinating service delivery and advising senior management on risks and mitigation actions.
  2. Lead the Southern Region team, ensuring effective delivery of the TFM model across the estate.
  3. Build organizational capacity, responsible for delivering services and maintaining assets under contract.
  4. Manage internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality services and exceeding customer expectations.
  5. Implement tasks efficiently and economically, monitoring progress and reporting to senior management.
  6. Evaluate data and operational performance stats, implementing action plans for out-of-line situations.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant Further/Higher Education
  2. Sound management and interpersonal skills to lead the organization and subordinate staff.
  3. Qualifications and/or membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace Facilities Management)
  4. Recognized Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH)
  5. Experienced people manager with leadership, team building, and communication skills.
  6. Good quality communication and presentation skills, strong capability to manage client and subordinate relationships.
  7. Experienced at managing budgets.
  8. Strong command of written and spoken English.
