Facilities Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Carbon 60. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Contract Manager in coordinating service delivery and advising senior management on risks and mitigation actions.
  • Lead the Southern Region team, ensuring effective delivery of the Total Facilities Management (TFM) model across the estate.
  • Build organizational capacity, responsible for delivering services and maintaining assets under contract.
  • Manage internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality services and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Implement tasks efficiently and economically, monitoring progress and reporting regularly.
  • Evaluate data and operational performance, implementing action plans for out-of-line situations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Further/Higher Education
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills
  • Qualifications and/or membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace Facilities Management)
  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH)
  • Experience in people management, leadership, team building, and communication
  • Good quality communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
