Operating Department Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our operating departments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of Operating Department Practitioners
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce waiting times
- Conduct clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and education to staff on new procedures and technologies
- Registered Operating Department Practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of working in a leadership role, preferably in an operating department
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
