Job Summary:
Leaders In Care Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Scrub Practitioner to join our client's Day Surgery department in a prestigious private hospital in Central London. As a key member of the operating team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management and organisation of care within the operating department, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Deliver the highest standards of care and services, prioritising patient safety and well-being.
- Perform scrub duties according to policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Undertake mandatory surgical checks before, during, and after procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and coordinate surgical equipment, drugs, and consumables, ensuring timely availability.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing individual needs and preferences.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the relevant professional body.
- Proven experience in a scrub practitioner role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
