Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director for our London office to accelerate growth in the UK's private debt market. Reporting directly to General Management, this role involves developing strategies to support business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of Aether FS's offerings in private debt agency and defining a development strategy with corresponding commercial discourse to drive business growth.
  • Focusing on promoting Aether FS's offers through communication and marketing supports, as well as being a key advisor on essential market evolutions to enhance positioning.
  • Securing and supporting the development of targeted markets in collaboration with the Communication Department, creating formats for promotional actions (blog articles, webinars, events).
  • Cordinating and executing development actions towards identified targets in the UK and Continental Europe.
  • Working closely with other Business Unit Directors to maximize information sharing and joint development opportunities.
  • Providing regular reporting and updates on progress toward development objectives, including customer follow-up and commercial proposals.
  • Maintaining awareness of market elements and regulatory developments impacting the company's activities in the UK and other key European countries.

Requirements

This position requires:

  • A minimum 8-10 years' experience in Agency Private Debt Business Development, with a proven understanding of the UK landscape and international exposure.
  • Strong operational knowledge of the UK Private Debt market and its functioning (technical, regulatory, and legal aspects).
  • High motivation, entrepreneurship, independence, and willingness to grow in a favorable environment.
  • Ability to take control of the development process with commercial, marketing, and field management challenges within a strong strategic framework.
  • Proficiency in Office 360.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, Spanish) are beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Accountability and sense of customer relationships, autonomy.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, pension contributions, and annual leave.
