Teaching Role for Students with Special Educational Needs
We are seeking an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN School catering for students aged 3-11 years with a range of SEN needs.
Key Highlights:
- Location: Local Area
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy classroom environment, contributing to record-keeping, communicating with other school staff, and promoting inclusion among pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and organized condition
- Contribute to record-keeping by documenting observations of pupils during the school day
- Communicate student knowledge and understanding to other school staff
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours consistent with the role and expectations
- Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
- Provide teaching and learning support using appropriate technical resources
- Support students with SEN and additional needs
Requirements:
A clear enhanced DBS is required for this position.
