We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality and evidence-based service to patients with cancer and their families.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualised therapeutic rehabilitation programmes, leading education programmes for staff and patients, and providing clinical supervision and appraisal. You will also be involved in areas of advanced clinical practice in oncology and palliative care, and will provide a consultative resource for other Occupational Therapists across the UK.

To be successful in this role, you will have significant post-graduate clinical experience in oncology, with a minimum of one year's experience in the field. You will also have evidence of experience in clinical supervision and appraisal, and post-grad study days or courses in oncology or palliative care.

  • Develop and implement individualised therapeutic rehabilitation programmes for patients with cancer and their families.
  • Lead education programmes for staff and patients on topics such as health and wellbeing, and symptom management.
  • Provide clinical supervision and appraisal to junior staff and undergraduate students.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols in oncology and palliative care.
