Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled occupational therapist to join our team as a Highly Specialist Neuro-Oncology Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will take a lead in advanced clinical practice, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues across the UK.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working across our Sutton and Chelsea hospitals, with opportunities for professional development and growth within the trust. You will work closely with multi-professional teams to achieve optimum rehabilitation outcomes and deliver in-service teaching sessions to promote clinical development among junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated packages of support across health and social care.
  • Provide consultative resources and expert advice on neuro-oncology clinical practice to colleagues nationwide.
  • Deliver training sessions and tutorials to enhance the skills and knowledge of band 5/6 occupational therapists.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £67,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus inner London weighting. Our comprehensive benefits package includes generous study leave, parking facilities at our Sutton site, an inter-site shuttle bus, and access to Vivup's staff benefits.

Person Specification

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • State Registration with the HCPC for Occupational Therapy.
  • Evidence of experience in clinical supervision, appraisal, leadership, project management, audit, outcomes measurement, and clinical governance.
  • Evidence of post-graduate study days/courses in oncology/neurooncology/palliative care.
