Job Title: Principal Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children and young people with gender diversity.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with expertise in working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions, as well as providing supervision and training to junior staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical services to children and young people with gender diversity
  • Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff
  • Contribute to the development of our services
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Strong background in clinical psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
