About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ward Manager to join our team at Park House, North Manchester General Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational management of our 10-bedded adult Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), providing care for male patients aged 18 and over.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Manage and develop a team of mental health professionals to deliver evidence-based practice and achieve key targets.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a least restrictive environment and person-centred care planning.
  • Ensure the delivery of a quality service, meeting key performance indicators and targets.
  • Participate in Bronze on Call/Bronze on Site as per rota.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with inpatient experience and leadership experience.
  • Management qualification desirable.
  • Acute ward experience desirable.
