Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) Job Opportunity

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to fill the role of Deputy Ward Manager in our inpatient eating disorder unit. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will support the Ward Manager in providing senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward, ensuring that care and treatment meet the standards set by regulators.
  2. Support the Ward Manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  3. Implement best practice across the ward, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and treatment.
  5. Support the delivery of service improvement initiatives, ensuring that the service remains responsive to the needs of patients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Active Registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of Revalidation.
  2. Trained Mentor.
  3. Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable.
  4. Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued Professional Development and leadership.
  5. Highly developed communication skills.
  6. Good computer skills.
  7. Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services.
  8. At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration.
