About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to support a 3-year-old child with complex health needs in their family home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young children and have a kind and caring nature.

Job Summary

This part-time position involves providing care and support to our client on weekday evenings, Monday to Friday, from 5 pm to 10 pm. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the child's physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Engage the child in activities that promote cognitive development and social interaction
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Support the child's mobility and transfer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of the child's care and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • A passion for working with young children
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
