Child Development Specialist

Academics Ltd, a leading educational institution in Surrey, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Aspiring Child Psychologist to join their team. This exciting opportunity will provide invaluable experience working with children aged 4-11 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

The role offers hands-on experience, free training to develop your skills, and a supportive environment focused on positive reinforcement. You will work closely with the staff to foster the development of social skills and support individual student needs. This position provides a strong foundation in child development, behaviour management, and therapeutic education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students academically and pastorally.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
- Foster the development of social skills and support individual student needs.
- Attend staff meetings and undertake continuous professional development (CPD).
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies.
