Job Title: IT Knowledge Engineer

Cloud Decisions is seeking a highly skilled IT Knowledge Engineer to join our Internal Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day internal IT systems of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all users receive an excellent level of performance from their IT systems and equipment, which enables them to do their job to the best of their ability
  • Meet success criteria and performance targets
  • Writing documentation, providing some coaching to your colleagues so that they can continue to learn from your experience and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Windows-based networks and servers, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune
  • Client computers running various Microsoft operating systems
  • Experience of operating system installations, adding driver support for new hardware and maintaining builds
  • Ability to accurately test and diagnose problems in a systematic and logical manner prior to delivering projects to implementation
  • Ability to construct a UAT testing programme and deliver and test a working solution that meets the defined success criteria
  • Ability to design robust and supportable solutions with low administration and helpdesk overhead
  • High attention to detail, with an emphasis on providing a seamless, fuss-free but functionally rich end user experience to our end users
  • Ability to work autonomously for a wide programme of initiatives and projects, formulating a project plan and guiding it through to delivery
  • Configuring networking equipment
  • MS Office and other common client applications
  • Experience of application packaging and software deployment concepts and technologies
  • Group Policy, on-premise domains and other 'legacy' MS technologies
  • Microsoft Windows Server Update Services
  • Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration
Desirable Technical Certifications:
  • MD-102, MS-700, SC-400, AZ-104, AZ-140, Extreme networks WiFi, FortiGate firewalls
