Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our expanding team as a Crisis Clinician in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills, with the ability to work flexibly and dynamically in challenging and changing circumstances. You will be responsible for delivering psycho-social crisis intervention to service users and their families, coordinating plans of care with other Oxford Health teams and agencies, and ensuring seamless transitions between services.

You will work closely with our third sector partners, including Oxfordshire Mind and the Safe Haven services, to provide diverse and choice-based services for individuals experiencing mental health crises. As a Crisis Clinician, you will use your skills and personal qualities to promote recovery, independence, and excellence in customer service.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • RMN registration
  • Post-qualified experience in older adult or adult mental health
  • Excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and dynamically in challenging circumstances
  • Own car or access to alternative travel for business use
