About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) in Oxfordshire.
As a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for driving forward the Occupational Therapy pathway within CRHTT, building on and refining the recovery and occupation-focused interventions delivered.
You will provide clinical leadership to junior staff, including Band 6 & 5 OTs, OT apprentices, and support staff, and provide skills and training for the team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the contribution of Occupational Therapists in supporting individuals in mental health crisis and will be able to work collaboratively within an MDT.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop an evidence-based CRHTT Occupational Therapy pathway that supports flow, continuity of care, and recovery.
- Plan, provide, develop, and evaluate Occupational Therapy within the pathway, ensuring that services are evidence-based and follow client-centered principles.
- Manage the Occupational Therapy clinical performance in relation to the above and support the provision of data and reports to demonstrate both activity and outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision to the CRHT Occupational therapy staff in the safe delivery of assessment, care planning, and implementation of occupational interventions specific to the needs of individual or groups of patients and their carers.
