Primary Autism School: Teaching Assistant Wanted
We are recruiting an experienced teaching assistant to provide high-quality support to children with autism and learning difficulties at our primary school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to meet the individual needs of all children and deliver tailored lessons 1:1 or in small groups.
About Our School- Our school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children with SEN.
- As a teaching assistant, you will work with Early Years and KS3 children with autism and learning difficulties.
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons that cater to each child's needs.
- Develop positive relationships with children, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless communication.
- You should have patience and understanding when interacting with children with varying special needs.
- Previous experience working with children who have SEND is required.
- A calm and caring nature is essential for building trust with our students.
- Understanding of supporting children with SEND is vital.
- Team Teach training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility in scheduling options.
- Competitive rates of pay.
- Close ties with local schools.
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
