SEND Learning Support Assistant Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support primary-aged children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a fantastic SEND primary school in Dudley.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children who have learning difficulties and sensory impairments, and will be able to support them in developing their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per year, dependent on experience. If you have experience working with children who are diagnosed with Autism/ASD, SLD/Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD/Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH/Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD/Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or ADD/Attention Deficit Disorder, then we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with SEND in groups or one-to-one
- Assist with daily living activities and provide emotional support
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individualized plans for each child
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching or Childcare Qualification
- Experience working within SEND settings
- A caring and nurturing personality
