Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Engineering Recruitment PDQ. As an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for the complete mechanical assembly of instruments from component parts, as well as the manufacture and installation of wiring looms using techniques such as soldering and crimping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete mechanical assembly of instruments from component parts
  • Manufacture and installation of wiring looms (using techniques, such as, soldering and crimping)
  • Testing and fault finding on instruments
  • Provision of occasional support to the Service & Repair department, options exist to visit customer sites in the UK
  • Ensure that all H&SE policies and the company ISO guidelines are adhered to during manufacture/assembly/repair of instruments
  • Participation in the ISO9001 and ISO14001 standard development and maintenance
Requirements
  • Experience with precision Mechanical OR electro-mechanical assemblies is essential
  • A solid background in both mechanical fitting and electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, drawings and BOM's
  • Take pride in producing high quality work. Good attention to detail
  • Organised and able to prioritise
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
